Improv Jones & Friends, New England’s longest-running improv comedy act, is back at Borealis Coffee Company! Join us on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 7:30 PM for a night of laughter and fun. IJ will perform their hilarious improvised formats that earned them the prestigious “Best Improv Comedy” award at the 2024 Motif Spoken Awards! Every show is different. Every show is fun!
Are you ready for the MADNESS! Improv Jones will be performing a fan favorite format, BRACKETPROV!! A tournemet style improv show where you pick what improvised scene advances to the next round. What as the laughs get bigger each round until a champion storyline is crowned.
Our special guest this month will be singer, songwriter Kate Hardly. Kate is a Boston based singer-songwriter whose performances are as clever as they are catchy. Armed with her guitar and a mischievous sense of humor, she turns every show into an experience with percussion, audience participation, and off-the-cuff improv. Her music is streaming now, with new songs on the way—and she’s even better live.@katehardley

About Improv Jones
Improv Jones began as a workshop at Second Story Theatre back in 1992, when it was on the East Side of Providence. When Second Story folded we set out on our own, and took the name Improv Jones. Since then, we've worked to bring the finest performers in the area together for a consistently high-quality improv show. We've had over three dozen members, many of whom have gone on to success in New York, Chicago, L.A., and places in between. Improv Jones has collaborated with numerous improv troupes, several rock bands, and one dance troupe, produced two plays, helped create the Providence Improv Fest, and performed all over Southern New England and beyond.
