OUR NEXT SHOW IS OCTOBER 3 at 7:30pm,
Improv Jones & Friends
Improv Jones is back at Borealis Coffee Company!
New England's longest-running improv troupe returns to Bristol, RI on Saturday, October 3rd at 7:30pm. IJ has been making things up on the spot since 1992 — every show is different, packed with unique characters, wild stories, and all-around wackiness, all inspired by YOUR suggestions.
This month's special guest: stand-up comedian and storyteller Michael Robbins.
Michael has been part of the improv community for more than 10 years — before most of you were even born! He recently discovered that stand-up comedians actually write their material ahead of time, and thought, "Damn, that sounds way easier!" Join him as he dives into work, relationships, and life in his brand-new scripted set: "Michael Robbins Does Stand-Up."
Come for the laughs, stay for the delicious snacks, coffee, and amazing drinks from the Aurora Bar at Borealis.
Doors open at 6:30pm and the show starts at 7:30pm
About Us
About Improv Jones
Improv Jones began as a workshop at Second Story Theatre back in 1992, when it was on the East Side of Providence. When Second Story folded we set out on our own, and took the name Improv Jones. Since then, we've worked to bring the finest performers in the area together for a consistently high-quality improv show. We've had over three dozen members, many of whom have gone on to success in New York, Chicago, L.A., and places in between. Improv Jones has collaborated with numerous improv troupes, several rock bands, and one dance troupe, produced two plays, helped create the Providence Improv Fest, and performed all over Southern New England and beyond.
